Today the Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of the Milli Gengesh of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov came to Arkadag city, got acquainted with the plans of the main mosque of the velayat, which is planned to be built here, and the projects related to its decorative features and the place where the new mosque will be located.

Among the projects are the layout design of the main mosque of Ahal velayat, the design of various types of interior decoration of the mosque to be built, and the design of the sadaka house planned to be built near the mosque.

Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov emphasized that it would be appropriate to start the construction of the mosque and to consult with religious representatives and distinguished elders to determine the location of its mosque. It was noted that great importance should be given to the interior decoration features of the mosque, the quality level of the construction and decoration materials used in the construction, and their convenience should meet the modern requirements.

Then, the Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of the Milli Gengesh of Turkmenistan came to the place where the main mosque will be built in the center of Ahal velayat. Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov pointed out that the place where the main mosque of the velayat is planned to be built was chosen appropriately.

Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov advised to start construction of the main mosque of the velayat in consultation with elders and experts, and to give a sadaka on this occasion. In this regard, the Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of the Milli Gengesh of Turkmenistan said that in the Islamic world, the mihrab of the mosque is facing the Kaaba, and he said that it would be good if the construction of the mosque should be started facing the Kaaba.

Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov once again emphasized that it would be appropriate to build an educational madrasa next to the mosque along with a sadaka house and gave some valuable advice on the construction of the buildings.

Then, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov observed the buildings built in Arkadag city, the new modern center of Ahal velayat, the names of the buildings, their characteristics, and their color schemes.
