The President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov paid state visit to the Republic of Kazakhstan

On 15 October 2022, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov paid state visit to the Republic of Kazakhstan.

President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov and President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev held talks at the «Akorda» Palace.

During the negotiations the heads of Turkmenistan and the Republic of Kazakhstan discussed a wide range of issues of bilateral cooperation, specified its priority areas, considering modern realities, existing potential, and long-term prospects. The parties also exchanged views on topical issues of the regional and international agenda of mutual interest.

During the visit number of bilateral documents were signed. The leaders of the two countries addressed the media representatives and adopted joint statement.

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, as a part of state visit, laid flowers at the Monument to Defenders of the Fatherland, visited the Main Mosque of the city of Astana and the Astana International Financial Centre.
