NATIONAL LEADER OF THE TURKMEN PEOPLE, CHAIRMAN OF THE HALK MASLAKHATY OF TURKMENISTAN MET WITH DEPUTY PRIME MINISTER OF THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION

Promising areas of further development of bilateral cooperation were discussed on February 17. 2023 during the meeting of National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov with Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Aleksey Overchuk.

Having expressed his gratitude for the given time, the guest conveyed warm greetings and best wishes from the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin and the Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin to the Hero Arkadag. As was underlined, a great significance is attached to the strengthening of traditionally relations of friendship and fruitful partnership with Turkmenistan in Russia.

Having conveyed reciprocal regards and kind wishes to the President and Chairman of the Government of Russia, Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan with satisfaction stated that Turkmen-Russian cooperation is developed in a wide range of areas being regularly enriched with new content.

So, there are good prospects for mutually beneficial partnership in trade and economic, transport and communications, logistics and agro-industrial sectors. Along with that, in the light of modern realities, the strengthening of interaction in water economy and ecology is also considered important.

A great significance is constantly attached to traditional humanitarian relations. In the given context, the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty made an emphasis on the topic of cooperation in healthcare. Development of the sphere acts as one of the priorities of state policy of our country, Hero Arkadag Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov said, pointing out that recently, the President of Turkmenistan has signed a number of documents for construction of new modern medical establishments. 

At the end of the meeting, National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Aleksey Overchuk expressed confidence that constructive interstate partnership based on historical traditions of friendship and good neighbourhood will be further developed successfully based on the mutual will of the sides for the common cause.
