On March 13, 2024, the Vienna Diplomatic Academy was the esteemed venue for the International Scientific Conference «Heritage of Magtymguly Fragi and Turkmen Culture in Europe», organised by the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the Republic of Austria. This conference served as a platform to celebrate the enduring legacy of Magtymguly Fragi, a Turkmen poet, philosopher, and a great thinker, and to explore the profound impact of Turkmen culture in Europe. Pivotal moment of the conference was the presentation of the first book of the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov «Youth is the support of the Motherland.»

Dedicated to the 300th anniversary of Magtymguly Fragi, the event witnessed distinguished speakers from various fields elucidating on different aspects of Magtymguly Fragi's legacy and its resonance in contemporary society.

Notable among the speakers was Ms. Chinar Rustemova, Executive Secretary of the National Commission of Turkmenistan for UNESCO, who expounded upon the inclusion of Magtymguly Fragi's manuscripts in the UNESCO World List, highlighting their significance on the global stage. Last year, on the initiative of Permanent Neutral Turkmenistan, the 300th anniversary of Magtymguly Fragi's birth was included in UNESCO's list of commemorative dates for 2024-2025.
