Delegation of Turkmenistan joins CARICC side-events

A delegation of Turkmenistan headed by the Deputy-minister of internal affairs of Turkmenistan attended the side events dedicated to CARICC activities. The side-events were organised on the margins of the High-Level Segment and the regular 67th session of the UN Commission on Narcotic Drugs, which takes place from 14 to 22 March 2024 at the UN Headquarters in Vienna.

The participants of the side events exchanged views, experiences, achievements and upcoming challenges in combating illicit drug use, and the valuable role of CARICC in this regard.

In their statements, the delegates from Turkmenistan highlighted the valuable role of the Centre in advancing tasks aimed at preventing drug-related challenges and strengthening effective cooperation between the parties.

As the current chairing country, Turkmenistan attaches significant importance to the active work of CARICC.
