Meeting of Hero Arkadag with the Secretary General of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe

On December 11, 2025, the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov met with the Secretary General of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe Feridun Sinirlioglu, who arrived in Turkmenistan on a visit.

Expressing gratitude for the opportunity to meet, the guest emphasized his great honor to participate in events commemorating the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan's permanent neutrality. The OSCE Head of State warmly congratulated the Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty on this significant date, noting that during the years of neutrality, Turkmenistan has accomplished tremendous work to strengthen peace.

Warmly welcoming the OSCE Secretary General, the National Leader of the Turkmen people emphasized that the International Forum, held in honor of the International Year of Peace and Trust, International Day of Neutrality and the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan's permanent neutrality is considered an important high-level political platform for discussing prospects for cooperation in such areas as ensuring global peace, sustainable development and humanitarian cooperation.

Our country, which possesses colossal energy reserves, is implementing concrete work to ensure international energy security, said the Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, confirming Turkmenistan's readiness to expand cooperation with the OSCE in key areas to strengthen peace and sustainable development in the region.

At the end of the meeting, the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and the Secretary General of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe Feridun Sinirlioglu exchanged best wishes.
