AMBASSADOR OF THE REPUBLIC OF GHANA PRESENTED COPIES OF HIS CREDENTIALS

On February 26, 2019, there was a meeting at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan with the new Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Ghana in Turkmenistan (with the residence in Tehran) Mohammed Sayuti Yahaya Iddi.  

At the beginning of the meeting, the Ambassador of the Republic of Ghana presented the copies of his credentials. Congratulating the Ambassador on his appointment to a responsible post, the Turkmen side expressed its readiness to render all possible assistance and support to him in strengthening bilateral cooperation.

During the meeting, speaking about the political relations between Turkmenistan and the Republic of Ghana, the parties noted the intention to increase all-round cooperation and readiness for joint work on their further activation.  

Moreover, there was noted an active multilateral cooperation between Turkmenistan and the Republic of Ghana. In this context, the sides discussed the issues of the developing cooperation in the framework of the United Nations and other authoritative international organizations.

The questions of developing of the trade and economic relations were separately considered. Also, during the meeting the sides expressed mutual interest in developing relations in the fields of agriculture, industry, sport, culture and tourism.
