THE PRIORITY AREAS OF THE TURKMEN-ITALIAN COOPERATION WERE DISCUSSED AT THE MINISTRY OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS OF TURKMENISTAN

On July 8, 2019, a meeting was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan with a delegation led by the Vice-President of the Chamber of Deputies of the Italian Parliament, Ettore Rosato, who arrived in the Turkmen capital on a working visit.

During the meeting, which was held in a friendly atmosphere, the sides discussed the current state and prospects for the development of Turkmen-Italian mutually beneficial cooperation in the political, trade-economic and cultural-humanitarian fields. The parties also considered the issue of enhancing interaction between the business circles of the two countries.

In addition, representatives of the two countries discussed the dynamics of the established cooperation in the cultural-humanitarian sphere, and also expressed views on deepening the partnership in many promising areas of cooperation in the framework of the EU-Central Asia dialogue.
