On September 18, 2025, the Ambassador of Turkmenistan to the Slovak Republic, Hemra Amannazarov, paid a working visit to the city of Bratislava. During the visit, issues related to the further development of political-diplomatic, trade-economic, and cultural cooperation between Turkmenistan and Slovakia were discussed.
At the meeting with the State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of Slovakia, Marek Eštok, the current state and future prospects of cooperation between the two countries were discussed. At the meeting, the parties emphasized that activating political relations, expanding trade and economic ties, and strengthening cultural exchanges are important areas. Also, cooperation within the framework of international organizations, particularly mutual support for the countries’ nominated candidacies, was included on the agenda of the meeting.
Furthermore, during the meeting with the Deputy Minister of Economy of Slovakia, Vladimir Simonak, the parties paid special attention to the future of trade and economic cooperation.
