The delegation from Turkmenistan Participated in OSCE Parliamentary Assembly Winter Meeting in Vienna

The Winter Meeting of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly (PA) convened in Vienna, Austria, on February 22-23, 2024, attracting over 230 parliamentarians from 54 member countries. Among the esteemed participants was a delegation from Turkmenistan, led by Chairman Yusupguly Eshshaev, Head of the Human Rights Committee of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan.

The Turkmen delegation participated in the discussions and attended the meeting with the OSCE PA special representative on Central Asia, which focused on areas of cooperation such as climate change, and transnational threats.

The Turkmen delegation also participated in meeting with OSCE PA Special Representative on anti-corruption, during which the Turkmen side underscored its efforts in combating corruption at both national and international levels, highlighting the country's achievements and commitment to cooperation with the OSCE. Additionally, plans for upcoming events and conferences were discussed, with Turkmenistan expressing readiness to contribute to regional efforts in addressing the emerging challenges and promoting international security.

The participation of the Turkmen delegation in the OSCE PA Winter Meeting underscores Turkmenistan's commitment to multilateral cooperation, dialogue, and the pursuit of common goals for regional and global stability.
