Turkmenistan's Embassy in Austria Organizes Bicycle Ride in Honor of World Bicycle Day

On May 31, 2025 the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Austria organized the bicycle riding, dedicated to the World Bicycle Day, celebrated since 2018 in accordance with the Resolution proposed by Turkmenistan and adopted by the United Nations General Assembly.
In the mentioned bicycle riding held in Donauinsel Park, took part the citizens of Turkmenistan temporary living and studying in Austria.
The bicycle is a simple, affordable, reliable, clean, and environmentally fit sustainable means of transportation, fostering environmental stewardship and health. The contribution of the adopted Resolution in promoting the cycling culture among all members of society with the aim of strengthening the physical and mental health of nations, as well as achieving environmental security - is indisputable.
